Daily Devotions
At Cottonwood, we have a vision of being a place that is 'Gathering Community & Growing in Christ'. Many people can take the first step in joining the church and believing that Jesus has saved them from their sins but then ask 'What next?' As our vision states, our next step is to grow as Christians and become more like Jesus. But, what does that mean? How do we know what to do?
We begin to understand when we build our relationship with God. This isn't simply an activity limited to Sundays, but every day. Through devotions, we can meet with God, read his Word, and talk to him. While we will never be able to fully understand or comprehend God, by meeting with him regularly through devotions, we can grow in our faith and begin to know what it is like to be like Jesus.
